Abstract

Khatamul Anbiya means the end of the Prophets. This is the basic belief without which we cannot become Muslims. Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) is the last Prophet of Allah. No Prophet came and will not come after Hazrat Muhammad (SAW ) until the day of Resurrction. Allah Taala has made the human beings subject to his command and Shariat. The subject of Khatam-ul-Nabiyyan is an important and fundamental topic in Urdu Natia poetry. In this regard, the poets have a good special Natia poetry capital. The poets of Azad Kashmir always treat the faith of Khatam-ul-Nabiyyan with love and devotion in their poetry. They have firm belief in the belief of Prophethood that the chain of Prophethood wich started with Hazrat Adam(A.S) ended with Hazrat Muahmmad (SAW). This article is an analytical study of the poetry of Azad Kashmir in above mentioned context.
