Abstract

This research article deals with a comparative study of two different editions of an Urdu Novel Ali Pur K Aeili written by Mumtaz Mufti critics believe that Mufti has never revised his texts in different editions of his creative works. This study shows be did so, the reasons to change the text are different. He changed the text in Ali Pur Ka Aieli due to some psychological, social, political, and literary reasons. These changes have been detected and their reasons have also been determined.
