Abstract

Professor Inayat Ali khan is a renowned Urdu comic poet of Modern era. He has portrayed the spectrum of life in such a manner that it emerges as the factor responsible for entertainment for its readers. He has entertained various social and theoretical subjects in his comic poetry. This element lifts his comic poetry from mere comedy to a thoughtful and witty piece of literature. This article is a study of social aspects in the comic poetry of professor Inayat Ali Khan.
