Being a profound reader of English Literature and an English writer as well, Mumtaz Shirin has shown commendable command over translation from western languages especially English. Her other distinctions in the field of translations is that she has successfully rendered many masterpieces of some eastern languages include Bengali, Marathi and Kannar. This makes Mumtaz shirin stand as a unique translator and this research article critically evaluated her contribution.
