Munir Niazi is the prominent trend setter poet of modern Urdu Poetry Who presented a haunting mysterious poetic atmosphere mingled with his symbolic style and unique diction. He is the jack of many forms of poetry. He wrote 'Geets' side by side with 'Nazm' and 'Ghazal'. Though these geets are very short in number but very important to understand his poetic universe i-e coloured with his individual thoughts, metaphor system and mythology circle. Hindi mythology and mood is the basic quality in this regard. He made a delicate bridge among his'Geets' poems  and ghazals.
