Abstract

The main focus of this essay is the evaluation of Dr. Wazir Agha's critical appreciation of Mirza Asad Ullah Ghalib's Urdu poetry. Dr. Wazir Agha has presented his arguments in the context of latest advances of Natural as well as Social sciences. The main thrust of Dr. Agha's argument is that notwithstanding the fact that Ghalib lived in the 19th century, he belongs to 20th century on the basis of his modern sensibility.
