A critical study of the revolutionary poetry of Josh Malihabadi
Keywords
Josh Malihabadi is a famous poet of urdu literature. His poetry is based on many topics i.e politics, moralities, religion, romance and love of nature etc. Through his poetry, he also motivated the people of sub-continent to get freedom from british rulers. When we compare Josh Malihabadi to other poets, we find that Josh is different from all poets on the basis of his political poetry. That's why, according to his revolutionary thoughts, he was given the title of Shair-e-Inqbilab. In this article, his revolutionary poetry is thoroughly discussed. Moreover, some critical views of famous critics are also includedin this regard.
