Abstract

In the backdrop of ideological perceptions  of establishment this  article  deals those political and extra cultural factors which forced Faiz ahmad Faiz to opt the painful phase of "self-exile" during Zia era. After the inception of democratic rule in Pakistan,it seems that a ban has been lifted upon the writings and thoughts of Faiz Ahmad Faiz in our public institutions as well. So, it is not only the physical return of Exile but acceptance of cultural impact of departed, detached and deported creative souls too.
