Abstract

Once upon a time in the Department of Urdu in various Universities in Pakistan modern literature generally and progressive writing especially were forbidden.  Faiz is also one example in this story. This article reflects that how Faiz was increase a part of the curriculum later. It also tells about the research done in various Urdu Departments in Pakistani Universities.
